Mystic Seaport and the Aquarium there. US submarine base in Groton.

There are lots of activities to do in Connecticut and it would help to know what city or county you will be visiting. New Haven has museums, Yale University, the home of the original hamburger, and famous pizza places. There is lots of shopping around yale and the green has activities in Summer.


Hartford was once home to Mark Twain and Harriet Beecher Stowe (Uncle Tom's Cabin). Their homes are now museums and open to the public. The Wadsworth Atheneum is one of the oldest museums in America and the new Science Center of CT is a must see for children.


The Connecticut shoreline has some beautiful seaside towns. Mystic, Noank, Groton Long Pt, Old Saybrook (former home to Kathyrn Hepburn) are just a few. There are two casinos located very close to eachother; Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.
