Car fans gather in Manchester for Cruise

Main street in Manchester looks like a movie set, but the cars are the stars.

There were GTO's and classic Ford Thunderbirds, but there were some rules, you can look, but don't dare touch.

George Inangelo said, "You don't lean on them. Your belt buckles, your rings, especially diamond rings, and that's bascially it. You just keep your distance, you look, but you dont' touch."

No one can blame Inangelo for wanting to keep his 1966 Ford Galaxy in mint condition. It's one of hundreds featured in this year's Cruisin on Main Street.

There were plenty of classics to see, like a 1947 Ford two-door Deluxe, as well as trucks, Corvettes and even a 1978 Ford Pinto is in the mix.

Dan Potter said, "I like to watch them pull into their spots, as opposed to just seeing them parked in a spot. Nothing like watching them drive."

The event serves as a fundraiser for the Manchester Area Conference of Churches and is considered the largest Cruise in the Northeast.

For car owners, it's the ultimate chance to show off.

Plans are already underway for next year.
