Federal, State, and Local Authorities Arrest 23 Hondo and Uvalde-Based Texas Syndicate Members and Associates
Salton City, CA – Last Saturday, U.S. Border Patrol Agents assigned to the Indio Station foiled a drug smuggling attempt worth approximately $806,000, at the Highway 86 Checkpoint near Salton City.
A 20-year-old man driving a small sedan approached the checkpoint around 7:10 p.m. A Border Patrol canine team performing a preprimary inspection alerted to the vehicle.
