New Haven shooter arrested
Police have made an arrested in a shooting that took place on Hamilton Street.
On Friday, September 16, officers found Marvin Jones, who had been shot several times in the torso .
An investigation identified Jermaine Harris, 24, as a suspect. Harris is a convicted felon and a New Haven resident. It is believed that Harris and Jones knew each other, and they were involved in a dispute.
Harris was apprehended on Valley Street in New Haven around 11:20pm on Saturday.
He was charged with assault, criminal possession of a firearm, pistol without a permit, weapon in a motor vehicle and reckless endangerment.
He was placed on a $1 million dollar bond.
Jones is currently in critical condition.
