School vandalized in Plainfield

Police are searching for vandals who damaged the exterior of a school.

On Saturday, police started an investigation into property damage to St. Johns School on Railroad Avenue in Plainfield.

The vandals damaged a video surveillance camera and ripped it off a mounting bracket. They also broke a window on the ground floor.

Police believe that the vandalism happened during the overnight and early morning hours on September 16 and 17.

The building is currently used by the Community Connections alternative school.
